SECOND MAJOR AWARD FOR LEADING PARK HOME MANUFACTURER

Prestige Park & Leisure Homes has scooped their second major award in a year at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards. 

The firm took second place overall in the line up for the Business of the Year Category for firms employing over 50 staff.  The awards, organized by Northamptonshire Newspapers in association with the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership and the Northamptonshire Chamber were presented at a glittering celebration event hosted by celebrity host Tom O’Connor last week.

The criteria stated that judges were looking for businesses demonstrating outstanding overall performances embracing a wide variety of key elements.  These included strong financial and growth performance, product and service development and successes, innovative practices, commitment to the community and environment, understanding of the marketplace and customers, and global expansion developments.

Managing Director Silvano Geranio said; “We’re all thrilled to bits, there were some huge firms in this category all performing really well, so for us to take second place was phenomenal. It just shows the potential in the industry and what a strong and dedicated team we have in place here. We work really hard to get everything right for our customers and that will always be at the core of everything we do.”

The category was judged by Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Chamber and Tracey Branson, Head of Operations for the Chamber, who said; “Prestige showed passion for its products, workforce, customers and local community. Since its start up just over 4 years ago it has expanded to become one of the largest players in its industry with impressive and innovative expansion plans which are currently in their infancy but are already beginning to enhance the company’s performance.”

The award is the second major coup for Prestige this year. The firm also won the Best New Product award at the British Leisure Show in Windsor for their cutting edge Matrix lodge, which introduced an industrial theme to a luxurious holiday home to great effect, giving it real ‘wow’ factor.
